Ahhh. That makes sense since moisture is necessary for the =
polymerization
reaction! Won't be a problem here in bayou country-we think 70% Rh is a
"dry" day!!!

John,
Low single digit Rh numbers means the CA runs & runs and runs...and =
takes a
loooooooooong time to seeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Needs moisture. In dry =
conditions
I'll wet joints and then add CA.

Oops, typo. Should be a very WEAK solution. Maybe two or three little
Drano crystals in a quart of water. Mind you, this is all untested =

Susan: The Elmer=12s could be interfering with the cyanoacrylate
polymerization in a good way. (Sorry, sometimes I get carried away and
forget that not everyone uses =13normal=14 words the same way we =
chemists do!)
I think Elmer=12s is from an organic source (still horses?) which the CA =
would
=13stick=14 to, and could make the bond stronger than a homogenous CA =
polymer
due to increased branching and interlocking of the molecules. My =
question
(perhaps because I have as yet zero experience with CA in piano
applications) is =13Why do you need a =13super-glue=14 accelerator?=14 =
Every time
I=12ve used it, it bonds very quickly on it=12s own.=20
