I have 15 Yamaha C3s that I tune biweekly. And yes, I do discount those. BUT, maybe only once every two months do they really get a thorough tuning, often they just get a few unisons touched up, and once in a while, I run up and down the keyboard listening to octaves and such and simply close the piano right up! But I would not expect any piano in a CHURCH to not require a full tuning after three months. I don't see any reason for a frequent-flyer discount. I also will discount anyone that wants more than one piano tuned at the same date - I charge my regular fee for the first piano and then knock ten bucks off each subsequent piano - I figure I'm still coming out ahead - no travel time between pianos, only need to make one invoice, etc. I don't give any other discounts. Once in a while I give freebies - an ill-funded children's home, an ill-funded old folks home, etc. Terry Farrell > Are you tuning less strings in subsequent visits after the first?
