I did some large molding repairs on a Chickering with LocTite (TM) epoxy wood repair last summer. Mixed it with dry aniline powders. Also colored with Minwax (TM) stain pen between coats of lacquer. Repair almost invisible when done. Wouldn't notice it if no one told you.
