It was just a fact he was passing on to me. = Renner cloth is presized so using alcohol on it would probably screw it = up.=20 With regular bushing cloth alcohol sizing will crush the felt making it = denser without removing cloth. On the old uprights the hole is too big = for the Renner cloth I have tried so I pull a really tight cloth to get = as much cloth in the hole and size them with an alcohol solution. Some = reaming and burnishing may still be necessary and if it is I guess you = know you got enough cloth in the hole.
