Slipping Paps wedge

They did change material Susan.
The originals were an off white, and lasted years.
The newer ones are blue, and a much softer material, and mine last about a
year, before there is a danger of breakage, from wear.
I like the idea, of staggering usage, from bass for new, up. As they get
older, they stay in place, much better. This gets back to someone's
suggestion, of cutting a groove. As they get older, they have a natural
groove.
I don't like the fact that they wear out, so fast.
Perhaps, they were trying to improve on the noise factor, that some complain
of, although that never bothered me.
Papp, does seem to be the spelling from the catalogues, just as an aside.
