Una Corda again

Thank you, Kerry. Yes, it was the Toyo I remembered. And the Toyo does still
mention the una corda pedal -- at least the una corda function -- in the SSS
Series:

"Upright piano in the past makes smaller sound by striking strings weakly. On
the other hand, the action of this SSS Series is the same of Grand piano which
reduce the number of strings when its make smaller sound. This is epoch-making
innovation. Our progressive spirit can create only available ability of Grand
piano; now make it possible on Upright piano. SSS Series Upright Piano feels
grand piano more closely."

 
I do not know if these instruments are imported to the United States.

Del reported on 2004 NAMM show where he saw the Toyo piano there as well.
