Yeah, but they save you a return trip to the piano. Crappy strings + =
crappy piano =3D good match.

And NO you don't need to remove action. I never do for a bass string and =
I don't have any troubles with dampers or action parts.

replacing bass covered strings by simply putting on a set of proper bass =
