I'm not in Canada, and the glue would just about never freeze in the car, 
but I do keep polishes, etc. in a little 6-pack picnic cooler. Its 
insulation might keep your glue usable.

White glue has the excellent property of still being okay after it thaws, 
or so I read. I've never tried it.
