Hello Tom and List
As I replied to Jonathan: I bought my copy of Pierce Atlas from Bob P. =
when I started this game in the early 60s in Vancouver. So the J series =
aren't in there. Jonathan went onto the Internet and discovered they =
(Kimball) went out of production in 1996, and the "J" stands for =
"Jasper" .... Whatever that may mean - Jasper Park Alberta?

Michael,
If you read further in Pierce, you will find serial numbers with =
various letter designations in front, indicating where the piano was =
made. J50367 would have been made in 1995.

Hello Jonathan
My Pierce says: "at the end of 1895 =3D 45000
"at the end of 1896 =3D 51000
There's no mention of a "J"=20
So I'd put it at about 4:00pm (tea time) on 16th.November, 1896
One lump or Two?
