Is Star Chemical still around? I took a 2 or 3 day course with them 23 =
years ago...ovens, irons, burn in sticks, French lacquer, pads of cheese =
cloth, powder stains, etc. Made the mistake of leaving my kit in the =
car on a hot day and all those lacquer sticks melted into a huge =
mass.... #%$*! I broke it into chuncks and still managed to use =
them---somehow.

Hi David -
Surprisingly, I can't come up with specific literature that addresses =
this topic, although I know that I have encountered some over the years. =
Is there a specific repair you are needing to make, or is this query =
for general education purposes?
