I use it after everything else is done to the wire and the piano has
time to sit as long as possible. Since the bend that this tool makes is distal
to the the agraffe or capo, any slack that later arrives from "down stream"
at the bridge or hitch pin, is going to allow the bend to move under the
termination, thus effectively undoing the bend. This might be useful in relaxing
the bend on both sides of the capo, but it makes more work later when you have
to straighten everything again!
