Tom,
Yeah, it's happened more than once. Back when I was a young thing =
starting in business, every once in a while I would need to borrow a =
vehicle from my parents. I don't know why, but just about every time a =
pile of punchings would be left behind when I returned the car. My =
mother said it was my way of saying, "Barbara has been here." :-)
My brother suggested if I was going into unknown territory, I could =
leave a trail of punchings (a la Hansel & Gretel) so I could find my way =
back...
BTW, I found a way to rid myself of those excess mushy felt front & =
balance rail punchings that I purchased oh so many years ago. I donated =
them to the Children's Department of the local library, where a lot of =
art projects are created. Well, I didn't get rid of them all, since =
occasionally they do come in handy for other purposes... =20
