Upright Treble Hammer Weight

  Is there a huge amount of felt on these hammers as the  ones I just saw 
were ginormous.  If so file file file.  Also Ari likes  using hard maple moldings 
& I beleive this is where yuour weight is coming  from.

I guess I forgot to state that - the 6.9 C88 SW was after tapering. If  I 
taper the sides any more, there won't be enough moulding for  a hole for the 
shank!
