The volatiles will definitely waft away. The solution (pun intended)  
here is at the end of the first session, mark the level of the  
contents on a mailing label on the side. Two weeks later, when you  
come back, the contents will have dropped below the line. You know  
it's not the solids which have evaporated, so just add more thinner  
to bring the contents back up to the line. V'walla, you've restored  
the original strength.
