Damp-Chaser in Texas

Hi John,

Yes it rose 14 cents in 12 hours at A4 measured with an Accutuner II
reading at A4. I suspect the effect might have been even larger with a
bottom cover. Humidity was about 13% in the room both when I plugged in and
when I tuned.

The piano was in good condition structurally, and I was the only tuner
working on the instrument at that time.

I did the tuning after the 12 hour plug in time--I'd prefer to have waited
longer but the concert forced me into servicing it.

The unknowns are how long it was unplugged. It may have been as much as
five days or as few as two.
