Backcheck noise

Hmm,  well, these new Steinways are equipped with the perma-free thinking in 
their hammer flanges.  Maybe you could repin a couple of these shanks to have 
maybe 3 grams of resistance in them and see if that lowers the noise. I would 
throw in the balancier pinning as something to check, too.
