Binding in Balance Rail Mortice

I think it's interesting that a premier piano made in 1912 had eluded
factory installation,
dealer prep, countless technicians and a recent 'rebuild' with wood
rubbing on the pin
and restricting the key's motion (pin hitting the back of a ledge).

It took about 3 hours and a Dremel Tool with a ball tip to excavate
the mortice.
The keys move much more freely now.
