Karl - RE: After all I read I decided to buy a pocket pc and get Verituner pocket. But I don't think that I will use the pc for other purposes. I hate the handling for scheduling or addresses. I prefer the old address BOOK style. I am just old fashioned. Carrying a laptop should not be necessary nowadays and is, as Avery mentioned, not really useful in field service. A Good Choice! I tried out all the other ETDs: . Peterson 490ST [sold it] . TuneLab [pocket and PC. A good alternative] . RCT [Cybertuner] [Good, but too many bells and whistles for me] . SAT III [The old standard] I ended up liking the Verituner Pocket PC for a bunch of reasons. [See the comparison chart] http://www.veritune.com/veritune.asp?ID=29 <http://www.veritune.com/veritune.asp?ID=29%20%20%20> I am running it on a DELL Axim X30. 624Mz. I do not run anything else with it. I too like it being dedicated to only tuning. That way it's really easy if I ever have to replace the Pocket PC. I have a Palm PDA to handle everything else. Both sync to my PC at home.
