YMMV certainly applies...
- many years ago, when I was still in PA, the criterion for 
taxability was: service done to a taxable item is itself taxable.

The best thing is to consult a tax professional for current policies 
in ALL juristictions where you work. Cities and counties may have 
"local option" taxes, or you might be like me and have customers in 
multiple states...
