This is an interesting tool for those who frequently remove hammers. Due to
the unique compound action, a tremendous amount of controlled force can be
applied. Glue collars are not an issue here. The photo shows how the pliers
crunch right through an upright hammer molding and press out the shank.
Grand hammers virtually slide off their shanks.
