Lubricating key pins without removing the keys

Yes,  my question exactly.  I hope you're not using Flitz as a lubricant.  It really is a polish, i.e. an abrasive.  Not so good for keypins, unless cleaned off and followed with a lubricant, I'd think.

  Flitz as a lubricant? Or, in addition you use the tool for polishing?

    This is what I use to lubricate key pins on grand pianos without removing the keys.
     Just add some Flitz metal polish to the tool and apply to key pins. Works on all 
    pins and with the bend in the tool it will reach the balance rail pins.
