I use !ntellect from Chaos Software http://www.chaossoftware.com/chaos.asp which has all that stuff plus an integrated email browser. Time & Chaos is the same product without the browser.
It's inexpensive, easy, very customizable, downloads to iPAQ, etc. I have been very pleased with it and know that other techs are using it, too.

Subject: data base

Does anyone out there have experience with multiple data bases for technicians? I have tried ACT and simply don't want something that convoluted. Truth is I've been doing 13 years with virtually no database at all. The big clumsy ones don't interest me. I want something which will give basics, name, addresss, phone, piano type, tuning dates, and room to make notes for repairs and directions to the place. Not much more than that

I know there has been some discussion on this list, so please reply to me off list so as not to waste others' time. I want to put whatever I get on a Dell Axim

   thanks
