To all, I think Cy makes a valid point. Regardless of this list's affiliations, those of us who are PTG members (not everyone on this list is a member) should be a bit cautious on the *discussion* of pricing. I don't think there is anything wrong in privately replying as to how much we personally charge to do a basic tuning. There is nothing secretive about that as a phone call to any of us from a prospective customer would reveal that info. However, to debate/discuss the issue as to areas, taxes, cost of living, and on and on, as related to pricing would certainly border on potential problems. Remember everyone, this list is public. Anyone can and may be participating (or lurking). My advice is to only post what you'd be comfortable discussing in a crowded elevator!
