My dad actually broke one, and epoxied the dern thing! I have a short one for a spare, and two old ones as "floaters" I've bought several replacement extension shafts over the years. Kent even gave me a new one once after I broke a shaft on one his SF-10s. (back when he was with BPO) But.... for me, (as you point out), I've found a much more appropriate lever, that made my fatigue level less and speeded-up my tunings. >I have tried others.
