Kawai K2 grand

Avery,

You guys are correct about the piano being a KG -2. However that was not my question. Weather or not it is a K2 or a KG-2 was not my problem. I could care less if it is a XYZ. I am having problems with false beats.

      But that's not a grand. I did check the serial number you gave and their web site said 1970.

      Maybe Don Mannino will chime in here. I just don't remember ever hearing of any K model grand. I could be wrong, of
      course. It wouldn't be the first time! :-)

        I may have assumed to much about this piano being a K2. It says: Kawai K2  then the serial number 479818.  Seems to be a 1970.  Over all it is in very good condition. Belongs to a piano teacher whom I have tuned for for about 7 years.

        I have never had any problems with false beats until the last year of so.

        What is a K2 grand? I've never heard of this model. Is it a fairly old one? Just curious.
