Avery,
It's just a nice way of calling someone as a cave man, and it's usually
meant in a joking manner. I personally thought it was fairly funny, and if
the shoe fits me, well.oh, troglodytes don't wear shoes - sorry, I forgot.
Anyway, maybe it's referring to most of us on the list being meat-eaters.
Since the Thump is a vegetarian, that seems most likely to me.
After all the ribbing some of us have dished out to the Thumper, I'm willing
to take a bit of the same. Maybe we troggies are thicker-skinned, though.
Uhh-uggh.. ;-)

David,
I could very well be wrong, of course. Lord knows I have been before!
But I still take offense at him calling ANYONE on this list a troglodyte!
JMO. Sorry.

Avery,
In my opinion, you are showing a quote out of context. The full text was:
"I appreciate the info, and it will hopefully convince
some of the troglodytes on this list that mouse
excrement IS a serious problem! But I'm not so sure
about the chlorine, due to rust problems. Industrial
strength Hydogen Peroxide might be better. ( From ag
store, as recommended here previously. )"
I see nothing wrong with Thumps post...? Why are you so insulted?
I think most of us take Thump with a grain of salt...the guys a screaming
germ-a-phobe.
Possibly his customers think he's a little too strange and that's why he
can't
make a living in this work?????...thus afford to go to conventions...
