You don't download anything, the individual posts are listed as headers (subjects /w authors) which are links to the post. You can sort the headers by author, date, thread or subject. Remember, it's a web-based browser reader via links, not your typical e-mail reader (Eudora - which I use) downloaded e-mails enmass. Posts I have sent have shown up in the archive within a few minutes so there is not a significant delay.
