Thanks for hammer hardening suggestions

Greetings, 

           I would like to thank eveyone for helping me with the hammer 
dilemna. I ironed the 10 or so hammers out and they are brighter. There are only 
two notes that need more drastic measure. The lady wants those brighter, so I am 
going to try some acetone on them.
