Denatured vs ethanol alcohol

I used some vodka a few weeks ago with low heat from a hair dryer and when I came back, I had to repin the top 2 sections...;-[  That's my problem with alcohol...uncontrollable...

I've heard 'Everclear' works well for easing action center bushings.  (probably eases techs well too)

        Is denatured alcohol the same as Ethanol alcohol that is available in drugstores? ...or so I use straight stuff from the state liquor store?
