Thanks, Alan, for clarifying my lack of clarity in the post of this Pollman Puzzler. It occured in the PIANO in the customer's home. My brain isn't working right after having a 103.5 fever last night. Okay, as hammer strikes string, click occurs. Not all notes, but several.
