GEKALLBERG,
If you have the chip, you can clean the keytop and chip and glue it back in with CA glue and buff. If you do not have the chip, replace just that one top. Is it a one-piece molded top or a two-piece custom factory top? This top should be available from S&S.

Subject: Plastic keytop repair
What's the latest, best repair for a chipped keytop? This is a small notch in the center of the key lip. It's on a Steinway D in a good theater. Haven't done this recently so I need an update on the latest technology.
