I love Ms Diller. My first day on board the SS Norway, after my first big band set, she strode up and asked me for directions to the 'Singles Bar'. I did not recognize her! I spluttered and suggested that she ask one of the more experienced members of the band. She did not crack a smile, said "thank you" and left. Several days later I saw her on walking towards me on deck and I said "goot morgen did you find the bar"? She howled with laughter, and we passed by each other without another word. That Is Funny!
