Forceps, tweezers and jewelers loupe in hand I am on my way this afternoon to replace a broken string on a Philip Belt copy of a Walter fortepiano. I'll use new wire for the replacement but I'm just curious... is there any reason to think that a splice can't be made in this tiny, tiny wire. Looking forward to making the hitch loop:-( Paul E.
