    Hi Geoff:
    The general thinking is that CA will hold even better on pinblocks that
have been previously treated.  I would however, check for signs of
delamination and cracking.  I usually remove the fallboard and visually
check with a good light and mirror if needed as well as feeling all over the
block as best you can especially at the edges.
