Kurt,

You will find that there are many benefits to being an RPT. If your skill level is such that the university will consider you for the position, then you probably have the skills necessary to pass the RPT exams. Go for it! It's a win-win situation.

Subject: University Position Advice?

A local music university is rumored to be planning a significant restructuring of their
piano technician department, and there will likely be a position opening up.
I have 4 years of experience in this field, and although I think they will be looking
for an RPT, I think I might apply anyway.

Anyone have any advice for me?
