Jim,
Look into Quick Books Customer Manager. It has decent features and will merge with your Quick Books program.

I use Quickbooks pro because that's the addition that my accountant uses and since my business is a corporation, I have some additional needs that it meets. It is just an accounting program and has no database features for customer files. I use Lotus Approach for my customer data base.

I'm considering buying Quickbooks, and wonder about the two editions: Simple Start, and the Pro edition. At Sam's the Pro edition is about double the price of Simple Start. It seems that Simple Start will allow me to do whatever I want--the touted advantages of the Pro edition seem not to apply to me. However, I wonder if the Pro edition provides any additional customer data options. This is not apparent from the packaging.

    Thanks,
    Richard Morgan
