A Dampp-Chaser with two tanks is being installed on that C7 next week.

 

 

I can't imagine 2 tanks would be necessary on a 7 foot piano with an
undercover. It seems totally overkill.

I have one (it's a Measurement Computing USB-502) and use it a fair amount,
mostly in churches and the concert hall I look after, but I've left it in

It seems to work well, but it gives me dramatically different readings from
those taken with my digital psychrometer, a Cooper SRH122. While the USB-502
can give me stored readings lately of  around 20% RH the Cooper has told me
it's more like 10%-12%. One church with a C7 I look after read in the high
teens on the USB, but the Cooper said it was 3.8% (+-4%) at the piano! The
