A quick reattachment is done with Vice-Gips and two glues (Thanks Susan).

Set the gap on the V-G on a good hammer such that it tightens well.
Apply white glue to the felt and thick CA to the molding. Or was it CA
on the felt and white glue on the molding. Experiment.

Clamp with the V-G for five minutes while you're tuning.
