A rail can be constructed from a strip of aluminium rail. Quite simple to fabricate. Simply measure the bass/tenor off set to induce the appropriate bend along with the endings bends, determine pivot points and leverage and attach a woolen material and a choke cable and you good to go. I've made a few of these. Very similar to the Rinky-Tink rail for a player piano with a few variations. -- Regards, Jon Page
