Bechstein bridge

I was asked to examine this Bechstein yesterday, No 80884. Straight strung 
upright.  Quite a hockey-stick!  What terms do you use for the offset 
between the bridge and the soundboard - I've heard it called an Apron and a 
Skirt.  Any other terms?
