Don Mannino has a great class on this subject. What I do is to determine the 
size of pin that will be slightly larger than any of the pins in the row of 
flanges, determine the proper straight sided reamer for that pin size, and then 
go through the row, reaming the bushings for the oversize pin.   Don't spend 
time custom fitting various pin sizes to each bushing, ie,   if you have 19, 
191/2, 20 sized pins in your hammer flanges, find what reaming is needed to fit 
a size 21 1/2 pin in there and then do all of them to that size.   Odds are 
that the action will never be pinned again, and if it does, there are still 
several sizes yet to go, if needed.   
 this procedure is not only as consistant as can be hoped for, it is 
economically feasible.
