Hi Ric,

Steinway also announced that they had reduced the height of the hammer rest cushion to match this new hammer blow distance, of course.

They also changed the shape of their whippen bottoms (contact with the capstans).

When you say they use a softer felt for their hammers, do you mean they are not using Wurzen felt anymore? Or do they simply ask for a different pressing of this felt?
