Jesse,

For one of the better up-right's ever built, you might want to take a gander
at the Charles Walters. I do feel there home model is a fine piano.

Subject: Best American uprights EVER built

I believe, aside from the vintage Steinway uprights, the best American
upright pianos ever built were the Baldwin Acrosonics up until, maybe, the
1950's or 60's (except for their bass bridges) and the Sohmer 34-96. The
Baldwin Hamiltons through the 1960's were also fine.
