From the DampChaser website, under Major Manufacturers Recommendations: d07f75.jpg "...Yamaha fully endorses the use of the system with Yamaha pianos in areas that are subject to extremes in humidity. Without such a system, it is very difficult to control the humidity around the piano." Of course this guy (dealer) will probably say that DampChaser just put that on their website without Yamaha's permission. Call Yamaha tech support and see if you can get something in writing from them to pass on to the customer.
