Anything but the piano!

Michelle: I had to clean a square piano that had egged, and the eggs had dried on the keys. I scraped off the dried residue and the keys worked again. Of course I had to repair many other things in the action, but that was due to the age of the piano, not the egg treatement. I won't hazard a guess as to what eggs would do to strings. I doubt that it would improve them. If the eggs landed in the action, you probably will have to clean or replace parts as well.
Good luck!
