mutes

We have a blind tuner who does that. Also he, and now I use "action felt",
like backrail cloth for strip muting.  It is much more durable than regular
muting felt, and I find it much easier to insert than muting felt.  It mutes
well also.

I heard that some people use their fingers to push the strip mute in.  Has
