That was my experience when I worked at a conference center with my father and Murray.  If any one of us tuned the piano repeatedly, it became more stable.  As soon as another of us tuned it, it was less stable for awhile.

  Do any have a "sense" or knowledge that a piano responds differently to different tuners such that if tuner A is followed by tuner B, the piano gets unstable until it settles into the style of tuning from the second tuner?
