Mark,

There is a bunch of info in the archives about this. I have used the 
custom-molded musician's ear plugs for about 5-6 years. Well worth the 
money, but there are cheaper alternatives. Mine were less than $200 with 
an extra set of inserts (I have both the 9dB and the 15dB).
