I've read the new steinway technician bulletin yesterday, and they say that some changes will occur in the future months on Steinway grands: they change the height of the hammer rest cushion, as well as the shape of the wippen bottom. The length of hammer bores will increase of 4 mm on models C and D too. finally they say that now, the "official" Steinway specs for dip and blow distance will be 10.5mm and 49mm on all pianos, from S to D.
