Hi William,
K-8 is a new model. I haven't seen one either, that's why I was asking for
help from those who have. It is 52 in.
R-1 is an older grand model that was only made for a short while before
being discontinued. Nice piano.

Hi Jeannie,

K8 or UST8?

Never heard of a K8, but UST8's, for the money, are good pianos, IME. I've
serviced a number of them, and I don't find any real problems. In that
price range, I don't think you can do better, just different (all other
things being equal, of course).

I'm guessing that first piano is an RX-1? Just saw one of those last week,
as well. Pretty good instrument for the size.

Best,
William R. Monroe
